Art has been a part of me my entire life. From my dad being a painter, to my mom enjoying interior decorating, I have always been surrounded by colors and ideas and the concept of creating. I played around with a camera when I was a little girl, but often lost myself in painting more often than photography. It wasn't until I was about 18 where I really picked up a camera again. Can you image what I saw? Our world, which I personally began to feel the weight of, it's loud noise and busyness, was suddenly transformed to a pure sense of tranquility and held a silence like I've never heard. Has anything ever captivated you like that? It's like I saw our big, beautiful world in a whole new light. I was completely captivated by this focused view. Passion fell over me and I was hooked. Years later, I haven't put the camera down. Now photography is not only a passion of mine but it is a part of me, it's the way I see the world, it shapes the dreams in my mind and the thoughts in my head.

You and I, we are born creators. I don't know about you but I can not, not create. I live and breathe this. I am captivated by nature and the beautiful places left untouched. I am captivated by old things, like barns or abandoned homes, knowing just like each and every one of us, they too have a story to tell. And travel? It has become even a deeper and deeper passion of mine. For I chase the beauty and the silence and the tranquility our world still holds. Those quaint and desolate places. It's where I find my peace.

Photography takes me away from the excessive noise and the unnecessary busyness the world has created, leaving me feeling more connected than ever. Nature ...it is the one thing that I will always be connected to, so much so that the importance of it runs through my veins. It is my mission to share this vision, to help bring a sense of calmness and slow that can heal...to bring inspiration...bringing true connection as words might not express but only a calming feeling can. A feeling perhaps felt to the depth of your soul...just as it has reached mine.

I am so passionate about my art, that I have realized this is my purpose in life. Not only because I enjoy it, but because I want to bring some peace back to you, in a world, that at times, seems to bring anything but.
