Collection: Faroe Islands

Little white row boat on the Shore of the Faroe Islands. Fine Art Photography. Kristen Olivares

I find myself purposely searching out the quiet, the quaint, the most desolate and remote places because of the peace it brings to my soul. Visiting the Faroe Islands was definitely one of those places. 18 islands connected by sub-sea tunnels, bridges, ferries, and helicopters, out in the middle of the rough Atlantic waters, I found a chilling yet an amazing peaceful solitude there. Vast green fields dotted with countless sheep, skies of blue to white to never ending fog. Visiting these magnificent islands was a dream come true for me, enabling me to bring home a wonderful showcase of beautiful images to not only add beauty to your home but to inspire you to see this beautiful world along the way as well.

Chasing the quaint

It is no secret I long for the quaint, quiet, peaceful places of our world. The Faroe Islands definitely reached my soul. The simplicity, the vastness, the purity. I found everything I could ever need upon these unique islands. I did my best to capture the essence of these Islands through my lens.
